The Kick London Award Scheme recognises and rewards the achievements of young people in our Kick Academies.
These annual awards are competitive across all academies. One nomination (with a brief supporting statement) is submitted by the leaders/volunteers in each academy for each of the following categories:
- Volunteer award
- Coaching award (volunteer coaches)
- Most improved player
- Most sporting player
- Best team player
- The Kick Award (An open category. It could be that a player has shown courage, overcome behavioural problems or shown good motivation/effort each week etc
Kick London are delighted to have been part of the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme since September 2012.The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme runs in over 2,000 schools, colleges and youth organisations across London and Essex. The Achievement Award Scheme aims to enable schools, colleges and youth organisations just like Kick London to recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of their young people. Jack Petchey wants young people to raise their aspirations, believe in themselves and make a contribution to their society.
Young people are nominated from across our academies and projects by their peers, coaches, volunteers and parents. To find out more about the Jack Petchey Foundation click here
