The Kick London Award Scheme recognises and rewards the achievements of young people in our academies.
These annual awards are competitive across all academies. One nomination (with a brief supporting statement) is submitted by the leaders/volunteers in each academy for each of the following categories:
- Volunteer award
- Coaching award (volunteer coaches)
- Most improved player
- Most sporting player
- Best team player
- The Kick Award (An open category. It could be that a player has shown courage, overcome behavioural problems or shown good motivation/effort each week etc.)
Kick London staff make the final decision on one winner for each category across all academies/nominations.
Certificates and trophies are awarded to the winners at the Kick London Tournament.
Many academies also run their own weekly or termly award schemes.
Kick London is an award body for the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award Scheme for young people aged 11 – 25.
